LotR/Gladiator AU fic
I'm looking for a slightly older fic. I had it bookmarked but I lost most of them when I changed computers. And sadly, I don't think I had it saved either.
I remember an LotR/Gladiator AU in which Rome conquered (totally destroyed) the Elven realms and captured a lot of the elves as slaves. Maximus bought Legolas, Glorfindel and two other elves in Rome and took them to work on his estate. I think that most of the elves who were caught weren't able to sail for some reason. I think Legolas had been king, and that he had been married but his wife and daughters were dead. (Maximus might have been a widower too but I can't be sure of that.)
I think I read it on one of the archives but I'm not sure. And if anyone does have a copy, would they please send it on if possible? Thank you so much!
