Well, its that time again.
I'm absolutely STARVING for some well written LotR fics (ahh the good old days! ;P) . The problem is however, that it seems like you've got to scrounge around to find it now a-days!
I want YOUR favourite LotR stories. Slash, Gen or Het. Let's get a massive list going. Chuck anything and everything that you love at me. (But please put a brief summary - why do you love them?, a link and pairings if applicable.) NO RPS AT THE MOMENT.
I'm looking for new and old fun, well written, dramatic, adventurous LotR fics. I want your recommendations. (Think Thundera Tiger, White Wolf, Daw the Minstrel etc etc.)

What have you got bookmarked/lurking on your hard drives that is just the perfect LotR fic for you? i.e. If you could only rec a few LotR stories, what would they be?
