I got an e-mail yesterday from the girl who's going to pick me up at the airport in Tokyo. She seems really nice and her (at least written) English is excellent. She's going to meet me at the airport, bring me to my apartment, then to a consulate (I have to register a few things in Japan), and then show me how to get to the school. I'm so excited! I had my finals for my summer classes earlier today. They were two interviews for my French classes -- that's high stress. I'm fine with finals that are impersonal; if all you have to do is go in, write for two hours, then leave, then I can handle it. I can do it, then put it behind me and hope for the best.
