In The Mood
Bush: " They killed 3,000 of our citizens before the freedom agenda
ever began in Iraq......what ? "
( reporter's muffled voice ) " How does 9/11 relate to Iraq ? "
Bush: " What does 9/11 have to do with Iraq ? Nothing."
From today's press conference on the status of Iraq.
I just watched it on Youtube with Brian and Mike. Hilarious.
Worked on the costume last night, making wheels, painting the undercoating of black on all the finished pieces, etc. There's very little left to do.
I wrapped the kitchen table in plastic and painted till 2 am or so, the cats scratching curiously at the dining room door. Having laid down the black to block out all images on the objects I'm using, I'm laying down the green tonight.
I'm looking forward to taking the robot suit to Endor after Halloween and
burning it on a nice funeral pyre. Brian and I were laughing about my costume obsession earlier.
While waiting for the paint to dry, I fought the burly White Martians on the surface of Mars as earnest newsman Clark Ken--er, Superman. And the Manhunter. Bad name, bad outfit, bad dialogue. No style. Besides the psychic powers in the game, his one advantage is that he can revert his appearance back to a monstrous alien form, which helps for boss battles.
I've had a hard time getting the image of the giant monster wang on the creature
in FEAST out of my head. It was horrifying, both because of the slimy appearance and the fact that the creature gets severely injured in the junk. You feel bad.
My desktop wallpaper here at work is the disembodied head of
Michael Myers staring back at me. Take a look....isn't there something
kinda creepily hypnotic about his eyeholes ? Freakin' me out, man...
SAW III review...sounds like they're going out on a good note.
