Hi! Sorry it's taken so long to do this. :-/ I've been sick. I hope you like it, I'm just posting the wallpaper here now because it's done. But I can make other things if you like. I just wanted to know if you liked the style. Let me know and I can change anything you want. I like to get things right, so be honest! :)

I tried to not make it too feminine seeing as you a guy. ;) I made it 1024 x 768 but I can make it a 800 x 600 if you'd rather.

And yeah I agree, ofthe_sky. The extendeds are the best! :)

WELL....

im speechless...this is now simply amazing! one thing though, u might want to upload it on a differant image host...photobucket resized it! darn them photobuckets!!! grr...BUT IT IS SIMPLY LOVE! I ADORE IT! and no, it doesnt look too feminine...its sooo cool! im drowned in it at the moment,,,im gettin sick now toO! and yes, i agree with both...extendeds rule!...and now i just read that u were postin that wallie there now...hmm, i gatta read the whole thing before i get to the links...my lil horrors i have! :P...but omg its breathtaking! i love it!

Oh em gee! I can't believe it did that! I just read that the file is too big so it automaticly resizes. The file is really big, sorry!Try this one. :p

Oh, and let me know if you want me to make icons in the same style or a header. I'll probably make a few Claire icons too, not sure yet. :p

Lol, ok. :p Glad you like the wallie. But what icon are you talking about? The Kate "surrender" icon I am using as my default icon right now was made by tihana, not me!

Alright, here's the tuturial. :) It's kinda weird and I have a wierd way of going about making icons. lol. Any brush light brush or texture I use I usually "smudge" some color, or something. I don't just use the brushes the way they come. I change coloring or something. Hope that's not confusing. :p

Alright, get your image ready. Crop, sharpen, all that jazz. Then dulicate your image and desaturate the dulicated layer, and set it to "Overlay" at 100%opacity.

Create a new layer and fill it with Solid color: #000000 (black) and then set that layer to "Color" at Opacity 30%

Create a new layer and fill it with Solid color: #B49848 Set that to "Soft light" at Opacity 80%

ok...welll let me just say,,,im soon to get ps...as u may kno...but the guy im borrowin it from keeps forgettin to bring it to skool...so i may not get it til next week which means...BORING WEEKEND FOR ME!!! grR!

Yes, you can post it in your journal. But it's not a very good tutorial and not very thorough!! But if you want, go ahead. :D

Yes, I think in tihana's journal it says that they are Light brushes or I may be totally wrong and they are Light textures. Not sure. I dont really know the differance. :p

Lol, that's a bummer! I hate when people don't realize how important something is!! GIVE ME MY PS NOW!! lol.

ok...well i wont post it on my journal..i kinda just got excited! :P...i realize that is isnt THAT thorough...but thanks! i thought today i could go to skool and get it...being friday..(the ps)...IT WAS A FROKEN SNOW DAY!!! GRRRRR! NOW IM GOING TO HAVE TO SPEND ALL WEEKEND PHOTOSHOPLESS!!!!
