Have made it past 40,000 words but only have today and tomorrow to hit 50,000, and I have to get ready for a week away for work from Sunday.  Wish me luck!!!

My failure to write more than 500 words yesterday was in a good cause, though - spent the day with bananasandroses for her birthday.  Still, need to make up some serious word count today.

ETA: Made it to 14367.  Might make 15000 before the end of the day! Back on schedule!!!! 
Made it to 15500! Yey!!!!!!!

One fifth down - reached 10000 words this evening.  Woot!

Feel a bit of a failure - have retreated back to Dr and Rose fic, rather the original story I'd intended, because I can write 50,000 Who words, but my other tales - well...  plus, I have a schedule I need to keep to so you lot get your chapters... which is really just an excuse, because in fairness it's easier to write the Who stuff ( Read more... )

I'm all excited - I signed up for NaNoWriMo yesterday, and like a very kind brain, last night I had the most amazing dream that was just choc full of wonderful plot bunnies.  It's not Dr Who, but it is science fiction and - wow, if I could pull it off it would be good.
