earlier today i was talking to some of my co-workers and somehow
the conversation turned into relationship talks and we all
evaluated the status of our respective relationships
and it was a little sad to hear that most relationships are
held together by convenience. is it true are we still in these
relationships because anything else would require to much work?
one of them said "well ive been with my girl for 8 years...
but i still dont feel a connection with her"
the other said "if you leave them then the steady sex stops"
then it was my turn i was stunned to see that i had nothing to say
i am in the relationship that i am in because it makes me happy, and i know
almost for a fact that it might not always be this way but for now it is
heaven to me...
so then there is the question is my relationship also based on
convenience? being that i am in it cuz it makes me happy.
i am a confused.
what is real love anyway?
who or what determines that?
