I won't be voting for either of them, but I did run across this article by Greg Palast (one of my favorite journalists) this morning:

Although I believe it would benefit the country to have more options and get us out of a two-party system, I have no faith that a third party candidate will make any dent. Sad.

my thoughts exactly. after voting for nader in 2000 i've become jaded to 3rd party candidates. not that my vote really helped bush, since i was in california at the time and the state went to gore, but still...

My idea ... Al Gore for President and Ralph Nader can be his Vice President!

OBAMARAMA. If my choices are Rudy and Hillary, I'll probably vote outside the two main parties.

I took a look at several polls and Clinton is in the 30-40% and Obama is in the 20-30% range (not to mention all the other potential Democratic candidates that divide up the rest of the 30-40% of the people polled). Anything can change in the up coming months. It is my opinion that Hilary currently does not have the full support of the Democratic party, yet is still the top runner. Should be interesting to see how things turn out.

The year of the first Presidential election will also be my first year of voting, so it'll be extra exciting for me.
