It's 9:30 right now and I thought I'd try to go to bed really freakin' early, maybe pass out in bed for once instead of at the computer. Try to get some sleep for once. I have lots and lots of comments to reply to, but they can wait a little bit longer, I suppose. And I was planning on pushing off the ep until tomorrow. But alas, it wasn't meant to be. Because, of course, as soon as I closed my eyes, my mind wouldn't shut up.
So here! Have an ep! It's not the longest ficlet of the bunch, but it's what was screaming at me this time around.

Jared woke slowly to the feel of fingers running through his hair and the gentle scratch of blunt nails across his scalp. He arched his back, pressing his head into the soft touch, practically purring with contentment.
He opened his eyes a crack to find Jensen sitting propped up against the headboard, gazing down at him with a look of fond amusement. He responded with a lazy grin. "Mornin'."
"Yeah, that still applies," Jensen shook his head, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips.
Jared let his eyelids fall shut once again as he curled into Jensen. He could feel the heat of the sun against his back as it filled the room with a soft glow.
"How long you been awake?" Jared murmured. He twisted his head and pressed his lips to Jensen's bare stomach.
Jensen let his hand settle at the base of Jared's neck, his thumb rubbing back and forth against the soft hair at the nape. "A little while." His other arm wrapped around Jared's shoulder as he pulled him even closer. "You were pretty out of it."
"Concert didn't get over until almost two." Jared yawned and stretched before letting his arm fall at Jensen's waist. "Wish you'd been there."
"Me too," Jensen's voice was soft, as if he was unwilling to disturb the sense of peace and calm surrounding them. "I would have much rather been with you than slinging beer for a bunch of drunk college kids."
Jared snorted. "Jen, we are a bunch of drunk college kids."
"True." Jensen sighed. "I just hate working Saturday nights. But the tips are too good to pass up."
They both fell silent and Jared breathed deep, the soft music filtering from the stereo on the other side of the room threatening to pull him back under.
"You know, we're both off today," Jensen mused, his hand tracing a path up and down Jared's bicep, the barely there touch causing him to shiver. "Maybe we should do something."
Jared tilted his head back and blinked sleepily up at his boyfriend. He was too comfortable, too relaxed, too content to even think about moving. "Can we just stay here?"
"Here in the apartment?"
Jared gave Jensen a soft smile. "In the apartment, in this bed, here. We can just order take-out and watch movies and be completely lazy. Whaddyasay?"
Jensen's lips tilted up in a lazy grin. "You know, that sounds pretty perfect right now." He bent over and placed a gentle kiss at Jared's temple. "Go back to sleep, Jay."
"M'kay." Jared let his eyes close and shifted his weight, pressing his leg in between Jensen's. "You going to sleep? Need you rested. I got plans for you, y'know."
Jensen laughed, the sound warming Jared from the inside out. "Maybe later. But right now, I'm happy just to sit here."
Jared pressed his smile into Jensen's soft skin.
Today was going to be a good day.
