Red Hat Heat

I met with my Red Hat ladies at Stanley Park today. I love that park- it's so fucking beautiful. It was Rose's month and she had a complete spread all laid out for us. Her grandkids escorted us down to the site- they were so cute!! We had a really good barbecue and found our way around the park's no liquor policy. We had 4 different flavors of Jello shots, wine cake, and Kahlua brownies. I had about six shots and they were SO GOOD!! I can't wait to make some of my own now that I know how easy it is. I guess you can find the individual little plastic cups and tops at Party World/ any party store.

We had a sunflower seed spitting contest and I was one of the winners (for quantity, not quality) and a purse treasure hunt (there were a couple people that use fucking luggage as purses so there was no contest, but in that game we were all winners). After we helped Rose clean up we drove over to the other side of the park to see the flower gardens. When all of the flowers are in full bloom it's such a spectacular sight. I could just sit there forever. There was a lounge singer dude that we watched for a little while and then headed over to the fountain and splashed around to try and cool off. It actually worked. Then I followed Rose and Lynn home (they took me a back way that saved a lot of time), and here I sit. I had an all around beautiful day filled with friends and liquor... Who wouldn't love it?
