...since Tuesday, when I was admitted to the Hospital for severe abdominal pain.  Turns out I had a classic case of Appendicitis even though the CT scan (both of them) showed nothing abnormal.  Spent 36 hours without food (and starving!), hooked up to an IV, and laying prone in a bed until yesterday morning, when I had an exploratory laproscopy and appendectomy.  I know have three very small cuts on my stomach which hopefully heal to very small and unnoticeable scars, but in any case, I've been doped up on morphine every 4 hours for the last 3 days and am now on a 4-hour dose of vicodin.

Fun times, eh?  I will update in detail when I'm feeling a little less painful.

Oh, and I can't take a shower for another 72 hours.  good thing I decided to take one on Tuesday before I went to the ER.
