I woke up this morning, very anxious about an exam. I open the door to go the kitchen and just outside my door I find a bag of chocolate and a card that read: "Today it's St. Nikolaus' day in Germany. All the good children wake up and receive a bag of chocolate if they have been nice. Enjoy!" Our resident German exchange students had placed them out for everyone who lives here. A simple but very sweet gesture that made the day much, much better and I still feel happy thinking about it.
Exam went okay, I guess. It could have been better if I hadn't been so stressed but under the circumstances I did my best. I've had a few people assuming that once I'm done with this exam it's the end of the semester. It kind of pains me to correct them that I start another course tomorrow morning and my fall semester technically doesn't end until the middle of January. Oh well, I shouldn't feel too bad about it since I'm actually interested in what we're learning about so far.
I just finished watching the first four episodes of Ergo Proxy. Can't say that I understand everything (but that's more my fault since I feel kind of brain dead) but I'm liking it so far. Will see if I can borrow the next episodes from Heidi, it's been a long time since I watched an anime series that wasn't Gundam SEED.
