Wanna know somethin' that really sucks? Some how managing to either tear or otherwise injure a ligament in your back. It hurts like fucking hell. I can't really move much of my upper body without wanting to curl up in pain and pretending the world doesn't exist. However, when attempting to do so once I ended up screaming in pain.

Doing such things arn't what you would call hard, same as breaking a bone. Its basically just moving in the wrong way and at the wrong time, but make sure to go see the doc. It may not just be that, you may have torn a muscle or something simular, either way, painkillers will make things easier xD.

The best way to put it is this, I install satellites as a living as of the moment, the other day I happened to slip off the rood (stupid tin roofs) and fall. That was fun, but anyways, I landed REALLY awquardly, on my arse, twisted my ankle and hurt my shoulder. Yet I just got up and went back to work (Straight back up the ladder and on the roof mind you.) Yet i have heard of people falling off roofs and breaking bones. Its all situational.

You must have just had your back or some such, in a wierd position or your muscles and such where cold, in the end, it will heal xD. As long as you havent broken your back :O

I'm not gonna go see a doctor when there's no real point - it's not like they can do anything that advil can't do. 'sides, $5-$6 looks better than $100-$200...

Ohhh I keep forgetting that, what do you americans have in the way of medical benefits? All australians get Medicare, well most of us anyways. If the surgery accepts Medicare, most of the time we pay nothing or half, if they don't, we can take the doctors bill to a medicare office and they give us around 70% of the money back.

Just curious to how the american system works, if there is one.

Uhh, its not insurance, and not classified it. Its a government benefit ^-^; So your government doesn't pay a single dollar in your medical bills?
