I love good days...
Today was definately the best day I have had in awhile!
Although I couldn't sleep and got up at the ass crack of dawn, I got a lot of things accomplished today and had a lot of fun with different people than I usually hang out with!
I got up at 7:45...actually ate breakfast...went to the bank, went to target, got Panera for lunch, then went to Coldstone with Liz and walked around downtown Bham for a little while. Liz...we were definately "slumming" it when we went into Tender...I mean, how much more trashy can you get!! hahaha...Then, I came home, went to practice, went to work, and then met Mary McCallum for coffee...that was definately the best part of my evening.
Let's see...I don't think I've had a real heart-to-heart conversation with Mary in a LONG TIME! And to be honest, I was a little nervous that we wouldn't have that strong of a conversation. But then I remembered that this was Mary...we definately have so much in common and can relate with each other on a lot of things! We met at Starbucks...talked for an hour there, got kicked out cuz they were closing...and literally sat in the parking lot and talked for another hour. It was prolly one of the best conversations I have ever had with someone. It was so fun to get a new perspective on things and just be able to talk with someone. We talked for two hours...it was like we had never stopped talking to one another. I love hanging out with all these different people...I just wish I would've taken the opportunities more while we were still in school.
But yeah, I definately had a really good time tonight and hope that Mary and I will do this more often...haha, that kinda sounds like a date...but yeah, ya know! I had a very good day today and am extremely happy and giddy all over again!
Let's hope the happiness continues tomorrow when we win the Catholic League Championship for baseball!! GO KNIGHTS!!
