Happy Birthday Jennie!!
Today was Jennie's 16th Birthday!! Happy Birthday sweetie! I love you!!
So today was really lame! I definately wish I could work during the day more often! It would make my life just so much more enjoyable! I hate sitting around here during the day and doing absolutely nothing...I actually went to the store to get lunch today because I was so bored! It was pathetic...
But then, tonight, I wish I would've been able to stay inside and just go to bed! Actually, that's a lie. We just lost to NDP and I am a little upset to say the least. We have lost to them every year that I have been in high school...it's always a good game, but it just gets frustrating! They are a very good team, and we can definately compete with them, but the score never seems to show it. Tonight, we lost 3-0...we played well for a majority of the game except for a few mental/physical breakdowns...and I'm sure you can guess when those were.
We also learned today that we drew Liggett for the first game of our District. While I have no doubt in my mind that we can beat them, I would've liked to start off the State Tournament by getting my feet wet, not diving in head first. Ligget will be a very tough game, and we are definately gonna need a lot of fan support; especially since we are playing at their home field...(hint hint).
But other than that, today was very enjoyable. After the game, I went to National with Jackie, Liz, and Giggles. That was definately a lot of fun! A good change of scenery from the usual crowd (not that I don't love hanging out with them) but it's nice to see new faces sometimes. And I love hanging out with these girls! They are so much fun...we had a good time making fun of our waitress (aka Devon).
But oh well...besides being pretty lame, today wasn't too bad...I just wish I wouldn't have to make excuses that I have nothing to do so I can sleep in...there is so much I wish I could be doing! Ah well...good night!!
