BAFTA

Well, I still hardly have time at the computer these days, and I still haven't found a damn job, but what I did do was watch BAFTA tonight, because I am a film geek at heart, no matter what else is going on.

What a lovely evening! I was happy to see 'our crew' represented by Sir Ian and, of course, the beautiful Mr. Serkis. Also, Happy Feet won best Animation, which made me very, very happy indeed, though I wish the director had addressed the environmental issues in his speech.

Lots of yummy boys to stare at, too! I honestly don't know what all the fuss is about this Daniel Craig bloke, as he doesn't do a thing for me, but I was quite content to ogle the likes of lovely, lovely Jake and sexy, sexy James McAvoy, who is still irresistably Scottish. He almost makes me want to watch The Last King Of Scotland. Almost...

I honestly don't know which film to root for anymore, they are all so good! I still haven't seen some of them, and since Oscar Night is only two weeks away, I will still somehow have to find time to go and see The Queen, Little Miss Sunshine, Pan's Labyrinth, The Devil Wears Prada, Notes On A Scandal, Babel, Flushed Away, The History Boys and Little Children!

As far as I could judge from the clip shows, both Forest Whitaker's and Helen Mirren's awards were very, very much deserved, and I heartily congratulate them both with their fantastic parts. Wow.

On to the Oscars, I say!
