Lylith stared at her homework in contemplation for a good ten minutes before deciding she really didn't want to do it. She picked up her phone and contemplated calling Bartholomew, but then it occurred to her that seeing him would probably put mixed feelings in her head about Ethan. "Yo. What's up, my main squeeze?" he said through a grin, obviously making an attempt to use shitty ghetto.

Her voice sounded sincere as she spoke. even she could pick up on her own confused and honest tone.

"I don't have much going on today, just some shit for law school I need to glance over later, but that can wait." If his parents found out, oh well, they could sue his ass for all he cared. It'd be good practice for him to find legal ways to avoid their anger.

Her voice was unusually quiet compared to how she usually was. She still had Ethan on her mind, and talking about Bartholomew was already creating confusion in the back of her mind.

Her fingers played along the edge of the bottle as she glanced back up at him. "Which is what I need to talk to you about. Now that we're not together he's calmed down with the prostitution, but now I'm gaining interest in someone in my school. I'm very confused with what to do."

"I still have feelings for Bartholomew though, and I know he's not going to change. I don't really want him to change, I just wish he would straighten up a bit. He won't do that so I'm trying to "move on." I don't know what to do. Should I wait until my feelings for Lo are gone or should I just try dating someone else?"

"I can't stop you from going after this Ethan guy but Bartholomew is a good guy, despite his.. batty ways. I'm not supposed to tell you this, but I think it's pretty relevant to you, too." There was a slight panic in her tone and she closed her eyes, trying to shuffle through thoughts concerning whose fault it was that he changed. She couldn't help but feel responsible, but then again, maybe that's exactly what Lo and Josh wanted. Maybe they wanted her to feel guilty and get back together with him.
"That doesn't sound like Bartholomew." Her voice was quiet again as she looked up at her ex's friend, purely confused now.
