Lylith stared at her homework in contemplation for a good ten minutes before deciding she really didn't want to do it. She picked up her phone and contemplated calling Bartholomew, but then it occurred to her that seeing him would probably put mixed feelings in her head about Ethan. She really missed Lo, but she knew if she talked to him then Ethan and him would be on the same level again, which was a situation she wanted to avoid for the time being. She looked through her contacts list for a few minutes more before dialing Joshua's number, smirking to herself in slight satisfaction.

She knew she could talk to Josh about her romance issues, and as close as he was to Bartholomew, she knew he would tell her the truth about who he thought was a better match.
