thanksgiving break was nice. spent like 3 or 4 nights at sean's. spent a day w/ the old "crew" and went to mexican. good food, good times... for the most part. was ty's b-day again and they slapped spoonfulls of whipped cream in his face and sang a good ole mexican tune. it was grand. it felt nice to see everyone again and it not be weird. had a night of me, andrew, shley and sean again, too. the last day, sean came back here and we hung out for a while.
i have been sick since thanksgiving break. still sniffly which is annoying. things have been going well for the most part. i have a new theater partner who is a lot of fun and has gotten me talking to a few extra people on our hall. don't know if that'll last, though.
i FINALLY spent time w/ people i didn't go to high school with. last saturday, i spent some time w/ adam, lindsey, and megan, some theater people. we ate dinner, went to walmart and played, drove to AC Moore and played, then went back to the nice dorms to watch ice age and ocean's eleven. it was good times. they're a lot of fun.
work has been going well. i get along pretty well w/ the cute guy, austin. he and 2 other fun guys from work hang out a lot so maybe i'll get in w/ them at some point.
exams are coming up fast. only have my classes one or 2 more times. my concert is thursday at 7:30. i'm realy excited for it. i've got a couple of solos that i FINALLY have down. and for all you staunton river people, mr. galyen is playing in our percussion section ;p. it would mean a lot if i could get a few of you out to hear us.
my room is a complete mess, but i've got all my christmas shopping done (and i'm down to only 40 bucks in my account now) and i did all of my wrapping (in newspaper since i don't have the money for wrapping paper) and today, amanda and i made our christmas tree. i drew and cutout a christmas tree and then amanda and i colored and decorated it. amanda hung it on the wall and now all of the presents are going to go under it and on our last day before break, we can all sit around our tree, eat rice crispies, and unwrap our presents. i'm excited.
i think my roommate moved out. i don't see her much anymore. her side of the room is slowly becoming my side, too.
but since i've got somewhere around 8 different papers to be writing by the end of the week, i think i'm going to go get on some of that. hope everything is going well for everyone! ;)
