[Today, the final day of Luceti, is a day like any other for Grune. She wakes early and dresses neatly, braiding and pinning her hair carefully, the same as always. Housemates will find her going through her morning routine with seemingly no awareness of everyone's impending deaths.
Next, she goes out to tend both her garden and the Memory Garden, before picking up some supplies from the store. She spends the remainder of the morning baking.
In the afternoon, she places the huge batch of sugar cookies she's made into her picnic basket, and she sets out. She's looking for every single one of her friends, everyone she's ever met, anyone who looks as though they need a friend, to tell them something very important. She's sure everything will work out for the best in the end, of course, but at the same time...sometimes things happen a little differently than anyone expects.
In the evening, her housemates will drag her from the village to what they hope is safety in the mountains. Anyone who manages to run into her there--or contacts her via journal--will find her watching the moon calmly, completely unafraid.]
