Chapter 3
i tugged on the sleeve of my jacket as i waited out side in the October cold.
they weren't even outside yet and the fans were still being rabid.
i was just trying to find the nearest security gaurd.
i spotted a clearing in the crowd and made my through to the guard stadning , with his hands on the barricade
"hey excuse me, can you possibly let me backstage?"
"not unless you have a pass"
i fished it out and flashed it in front of his face
"alright" he said swinging the barricade and letting me slide past.
i heard a few girls boo
"why does she get to go in?"
"she has a pass, stay calm they'll be out shortly" the guard said as i slipped inside the building
i unzipped my jacket.
and found the room bands usually use as their green room
i knocked
it door swung open
"hey, meg right?" quinn said
"we met this afternoon didn't we?"
"yeah we did, quinn right?"
he nodded
"Jeph is just finishing changing, come in" he said
jeph came out from behind a chaning wall
"hey!" he said coming over to me
"did you enjoy the show?" he said
"yeah i did! it was great, thanks for the pass" i smiled
"no problem, do you still want to do something?"
"uh sure..it's up to you though" i laughed
"we just have to do the meet and greet thing, than we can go do soemthing" jeph said
"alright"
"so you wanna just hang in here?"
"uh..i have to grab my room key, before my room mate goes to bed"
"oh ok...so meet you back here in say an half an hour?"
"yeah ok" i nodded
"alright" he smiled
i smiled, leaving
i could have sworn i heard quinn say
"it's obvious you're flirting"
i walked back up to my room and a half an hour or so
i found jepha waiting in front of meyer hall
"hey" he smiled
"hey, so what do you want to do?"
"well it's 11pm,you 21?"
"eh, 20...21 next year" i laughed
"alright, you wanna go get coffee and just chat?"
"yeah alright" i said
we drove down to a locally owned coffee shop
i stirred sugar into my coffee
"so where are you guys headed next?"
"seattle, we have a show there in 4 days"
"cool"
"what are you doing in 4 days?'
"studying for a test" i laughed
"what are you doing tomorrow?"
"saturday, nothing..'i said
"we don't have to leave until later in the day, so maybe you wanna do something tomorrow too"
"yeah alright" i laughed
we left after awhile, becuase they kicked us out
we drove back on campus
"well thank you for inviting me out, and the backstage pass" i said coming around to the passenger side door
"no problem" he smiled shutting the car door
"uh...do you think i could have your number?" he said pulling out his cell phone
"oh sure" i said giving him the number.
he gave me his in return
"can i walk you up to your dorm, or is that not allowed?" he said
"not allowed" i said
"ah..okay well then i will just leave you here" he said
"alright, well i will see you tomorrow than" i said
"yeah" he nodded
"you want to kiss me don't you?"
he laughed and i could see him blush
"yeah" he said
i was one ahead of him, i leaned in and brushed my lips against his
i felt his hand slide behind my neck as he kissed back
regretfully i pulled away
"i'm sorry...you have a girlfriend don't you" i said
"no i don't" he said
"it's just...i just met you!" i said smiling
"i know...but we can just get to know eachother alright" he said
"okay" i said heading up to my dorm room
only to find my room mate...busy with some one..
it turned out to be quinn...
and that's how it all started
4 years ago..
he came back after seattle, to minnesota.
as they were driving to michigan..and we started dating..
and we've been dating since than..
i was broken out of my thoughts and remeniscing by someone hovering over me
i opened my eyes
"hey" i said
"hey" he smiled
"you hungry?" he said
"yeah"
"what were you doing?"
"thinking about the first time i met you"
"you mean when i hit you with the door?" he laughed
"yeah..that"
"i was such a loser back than.." he said
"you're a loser now" i smiled pulling his mouth towards mine
he smiled against my mouth
"what ever happened to carley?" he said
"she's dating some guy named william" i said
"ahhh....food?" he smiled pulling me off of the bed
i nodded following him into the kitchen.
