go see the VM
Just got back from the Vagina Monologues, and OMG, I am totally blown away with how powerful those monologues were. It’s so amazing that Christina can pull it all together. Two girls from my hall were in it tonight as well! They both did an awesome job. Caitlin brought so much energy to “Reclaiming Cunt”, by the end of it, you couldn’t help but scream it! And Raegan, did a kick ass job on “The Vagina Workshop” she totally had the audience with her. I was also amazed at Jana’s job doing “They Beat the Girl Out of Me… or so They Tried”. It takes a lot to make me cry, but I definitely teared up by the end of it. I’m so excited about seeing the “Vagina Monologues” again tomorrow! I’m really interested to see how different people approach acting the monologues.
Tomorrow I’m getting up early to check out apartments with Andrea, and Anna. I’m so confused about what I want to do about living conditions next semester. I really can’t tell how all this is going to end up. It’s one of those things where there are so many options, I wonder about fate. Is there one choice I am meant to come to? Oi Vei!
Talked to the Parental Units about New York City, and they are pretty encouraging and supportive! They are totally going to lend me money for New York as well! They so rock when I don’t have to be around them 24/7. I really hope things work out! I’m so psyched about our $35 round trip tickets.
o-o-o-o! We get sun this weekend. Weather bug just popped up! OK, so I’m getting ADD now… gots to go… write more later on!
