...in 6 hours for the airport where my boy will be going back home. I'm going to miss him a lot. Get used to him not being around again. The hardest parts for me about a long distance relationship is the saying hello and saying good-bye. When he came out here this last time it was my 4th time seeing him in person. we had already spent about 3 weeks

Well, I'll tell you the story behind it, anyway. About two weeks before that, Kyna told me she was getting married. I was supposed to be getting the dogs from her for Christmas that year, because her family was visiting and I was going to be alone. When I called her house, though, her sister and mother tried to interfere with our "custody arrangement" for sharing the dogs.

She eventually called me and got the dogs to me in time for Christmas, but not before I started writing the song.

Sorry if this is teasing you ... I'll try to lay down a respectable version of the song this weekend.
