I know I said I was done with these banners, but I've become strangely obsessed with them and couldn't resist taking a stab at one or two more. Below the cut, Miriam Kennedy Corliss wants to show you something.

Ken's arc in Clocks is all about revolution, power dynamics, privilege, betrayal and, of course, "what evil tastes like" (kinda chalky). I tried to layer in some textures that referenced these ideas. I went with a sort of late 70's, cluttered punk-poster sensibility, mixing scribbles, stamps, pastels and gouache, along with Warhol's painting of Mao, an old propaganda image of Stalin and the blueprints for a nuke.
This one is still kinda rough, so I might revisit it later on and take another whack at composition.
