More Dragon Age stuff. You're surprised? You shouldn't be.
WOW The ending of Awakening still sucks! The Mother doesn't even get a cool, slo-mo stabbity stab death kill thing. It's just... stabbity stab.
I seriously think something was wrong with my game, because I bumped it up to Nightmare and it was easier than I remembered. AND IT DOESN'T AUTOSAVE AFTER THE CREDITS! WTF. I would think it is supposed to, right? I guess there are no real 'decisions' after the autosave before you kill the Mother, but it still really bugs me that I don't have a post-game save.
And the epilogue slides, uuuuggghhhhhhh. Especially:
Anders will remain with the Grey Wardens to train the Order's next generation of mages. When he is called by the Circle of Magi to deliver a lecture on the nature of the Architect - much to the templars' dismay - he tells the Commander of the Grey that his time with the Wardens is over. However, not two months later, he returns and the Wardens remain his home and lasting companions.

Even without everything we know about Dragon Age 2, I still hate that. I hate that they try to tie it up all nice like no one ever hates being a Warden and they are just the Best Thing To Ever Happen. (In case it wasn't entirely obvious, I can't stand the Grey Wardens.) That was probably my Least Favorite slide out of all of them. At least the others would make more sense with him ending up in Kirkwall, even though that short story pretty much negates any of the slides, period.
TLDR I really, really like what they did with Anders. JESS APPROVES +1000.
Also, I got Velanna last so I couldn't do her Joining?? Wtf is that shit. AND HOW DO I CONTINUE TO MISS "SIGRUN'S ROGUISH PAST"?!! Oh, I see, it's a bug and I did the "Law and Order" quest like, first thing. Super duper, thanks game! >:| And I will never get Oghren's quest, at least as long as I'm playing as Kallian, which is a total bummer because I really don't feel like playing Awakening ever again for real this time. She is not going to coddle him, dammit! (But she still cares ;_;)
OH OH! And I seem to have done a complete 180... Adam Howden is totally Constable Aidan and everytime I talk to him I'm like 'LAJFLASK ANDERSSSSSSS'. Greg Ellis can have Cullen, I am officially okay with it. UNS UNS
