Jack's Father
I apologize if this has been discussed before in Season 1 but this recent episode brings Jack's father back into the center again.
He's been connected to a lot of the characters so far, Boone and Shannon because he couldn't operate on their father in the hospital. Ana Lucia, Sawyer. Anyone else?
And now we all know he was on the plane, but when they landed on the island his body wasn't in the coffin. Why is this a detail that no one is making a bigger deal of? And when Jack saw his father in the woods, was that really him? I'm pretty much convinced he's alive. I mean the island cured cancer, and the paralysis of Locke. Why not his father? So I'm thinking that Jack's father is with the Others. Either they revived him or he wandered around in the jungle and found them. Now, before his drinking days, his father was a very talented surgeon. His medical background could be useful for the Others. Especially because Ethan is dead now. I mean the island can only have so many doctors on it. Now this could possibly connect why the Others were interested in Claire and her baby if the theories floating around about Claire being Jack's half-sister.
I don't know. A few theories that shot through my head. Anyone else have other thoughts on this?
