Okay, take two. My misgivings about putting this on Teaspoon, given its OC focus, overtook me, so I whipped it out of the queue and am posting it here instead.

Although... now I'm filled with the urge to write a Torchwood wedding ruined by UNIT fic :D

That would be awesome indeed! Go on, then!

(surprisingly, fic happened.
Wow, first fic I write in what, ten months?!)

And, really? Wow - glad I could be of some inspiration. :-) I hope we don't have to wait that long for the next one, though. I like your unusual take on things.

LOL Priceless!
Ten DID say he's rubbish at weddings! :D

Much as I love them all, I don't think I'd want any of the Doctors anywhere near a wedding!

I always knew UNIT would go downhill once Alistair left.
That would explain a lot! ;)
BTW, if you want to post this story at Teaspoon, it's very acceptable. Even if you had only original characters who worked at UNIT, and no Doctor at all, it would be fine because of the UNIT connection.

And I guessed it probably would be, but I still feel like I'm peddling original fic in disguise. I might, in the end, to keep it with the series - especially when I've got some assurance it wouldn't be kicked out for being so OC-centric!

Definitely post this on the 'Spoon - it's got Ten and Col. Crichton in it, after all, and they're not OCs...
This was lovely, in so many ways, from Pvt Robinson's concerns, to Ten's (quite correct!) suspiscion that he is too much of a trouble-magnet to be going to people's weddings, to Col. Crichton going equipped, to Nat/Tilly...awww...Nat/Tilly...
And I know I have a history of inappropriately shipping Sgt. Kennedy with people, but... Kennedy/Kate? Kennedy/Kate, eh? Awww... ;D

Glad you liked it, and you're even coming round to Nat/Tilly. ;-)
But, Kate and Kennedy? That would be corny and narratively over-neat and unrealistic, and I would never stoop to such things. What can you be thinking? :-p
