He walked towards me, his pale blue eyes simmering with enough heat to melt my eyestalk. I was powerless to resist him. Slowly, shyly, I opened my casing, my inner core revealed to his relentless gaze. He took a step closer, reaching out a hand towards my trembling tentacles.
"Doc-tor!" My voice was hoarse, even more staccato than usual, and the lights on the top of my casing went wild with passion. As he moved ever nearer, I could feel my spheres beginning to vibrate...
The plot summaries are either priceless or kind of terrifying, I don't know which. But putting character names in results in pretty much instant hilarity. :-)
Heh. I'd forgotten that picture of Paul McG and the Dalek. I could have saved myself some Photoshopping! Those are great, though. Jo/Dalek is perfect. :D
Looking at the list of prompts, I recognised the name of Portia Da Costa and wondered if her Eight/OFC romance was on the list - and if so, whether it might be an idea to do it but with the rôles reversed, so that Eight finds an amnesiac Charley, or Lucie, or Dalek wandering into his life. But I think that was a different publisher.
ETA: Having taken another look at the prompts, my imagination seems to be casting them like Storytime, finding a pair of unshipped characters who approximate the descriptions rather than (say) substituting Jamie's and Victoria's names into number 92 (or, Heaven help us, numbers 133 or 138).
And I see what you mean about the banners being addictive :-)
