Well, I love it (naturally)! All the feels with that shoe and the handholding... *sniffle* Now I want to do a Henry/Elizabeth fanmix!

Thanks for the link - Aw, history newbies getting sucked into liking dead people unreasonably! I know the feeling. :-)

Oh, no, that's perfect - and I really love the song & had never heard of the artist before.

It's certainly a lovely song. It was the whole ''death mask'' thing that made me think ''effigy!''. Also, the lyrics do really work, mostly.

I did like what I saw of Elizabeth. A nice change from the saintly, demure image she's often given (though there are few fictional accounts, of course).
