There's always room for yet another apocalypse (this is a rule)

Memed from just about everyone:
Go look at your journal. Find the last fandom-related thing you posted. The characters in that post are now your team-mates in the Zombie Apocalypse. How doomed are you? [If I had used the original wording for this, you might have got more of my thoughts on Elementals and teh sex, and that would only be worrying.] ( Read more... )

sapphire and steel, fannish nonsense, meme

The zombies are definitely doomed!

They are! I just have no confidence in my continued survival (or at least not without having terrifying consequences to deal with) but right now I am so in love with the show that I'm tempted to think it would be a price worth paying. :-)

Hee.

I will read your S&S reaction post later. I'm still too dazed from getting only 2.5 hours sleep last night to make sense of much.

Aw. *hugs* Yes, if you've had hardly any sleep - poor you! - my ramblings would *not* be the thing to try and cope with. Oh, dear, no ...

As I look up and down my flist, I have to say, that they are really not having much luck. :-)

I'm just not totally sure *I'm* not doomed as well. Right now, though, if that means I get to watch Sapphire & Steel posing perfectly and maybe get nicely flirted at by Silver first, it'd probably be worth it anyway.

You see those zombies in the corner? They're shouting you're cheating! :D

(Ah, now I see why you prefer your doom over mine - indeed, Sapphire & Steel are more reliable than TW!)

Why do the zombies think I cheated? They're bad losers, aren't they?

Well, let's admit it, it would be quite tough to find a band of sf heroes who are less reliable than TW, bless their little pteradactyls and all.

And, yes, indeed, if I am doomed, it will be done with impeccable posing.

Ahaha, Ruth, Eleven, Rory the Roman and Amelia Pond? Yes, zombies are well and truly doomed.

Yeah, this meme made me think of you - and I realised you were far better off than most with your team. The zombies would barely get in the door. (Assuming there was a door).

... And, while I do not wish to be annoying and oppressive again... (I was thinking we were even now, but then I thought about no of episodes and TWW vs Life. Yeah...*cough*). Anyway, as you can see, I watched Sapphire & Steel, but I kept thinking Hmm, belantana would like this ( ... )

Heeee, you are TOTALLY RIGHT, this sounds like exactly my cup of tea! I was getting intrigued when you mentioned a house full of clocks, because, uh, house full of clocks, what's not awesome about that! and then I read the introductory post and: Malevolent torch beams! Ominous stairwells! Nursery rhymes! Basically, yes please!

Not to mention of course that you *do* know a lot better than most people in my RL the kind of thing I like, so I will always trust your judgement. :D I'm therefore going to resoundingly reject all your apologies. So there.

I'll attempt to acquire this next weekend, then! YAY.

Hee! Well, I hope you do like it. You can throw things if you don't. Nice to know I wasn't too far out in my thinking, anyway. There are definitely nursery rhymes, quite a bit. Probably only one ominous stairwell, and the ultimate danger is to be found in a ... service station, heh.
