Random is as random does... (again)
I find I've used this title for an entry before. Oh, well. :lol:
Three random things:
1. I've posted ch2 of End Game. I thought it would be nice to demonstrate that there are bad things happening and a villain sooner rather than later. (Like Stardust, the natural places I want to end the chapters would make very long postings, so I've broken them up. Ch 1-3 are all really one thing, hence ch1 being a bit lacking in anything other than Nat annoying people.)
2. persiflage_1 quoted Neverland where the Doctor introduces Charley to Romana. I seem to remember having a conversation where people were wary of Charley because of something like this, and I was saying, "Yes, but when they meet it's just all very DW-ish, and no need to worry..." but couldn't remember the line. Here it is: Eight: Now come on, you have to meet Romana. Romana, this is Charley, one of my best ever friends. Charley, this is Romana, one of my best friends ever.
3. How can I cheer people up? Well, I can't, but I'll have a go. Beneath the cut are links to the original UK Carry On trailers. (And I couldn't glimpse any Pertwee, but yes, there is Sergeant Hartnell)
These are fun, just for being terribly old-fashioned British 1950s, 60s and 70s trailers, and possibly will help explain some of my Carry On-related posts. There is nothing like pure silliness to cheer you up every now and then.)

Carry On Nurse This is the point it became a series, and so there were three other medically-themed films:
Carry On Doctor
Carry On Matron
Two of the trailers I liked the best:

And, for reference:
Carry On Screaming (One of these days I'll write a crossover for this. I know exactly how it will work... I mean, it has Jon Pertwee playing a mad scientist, and Angela Douglas as Doris. Sadly, I don't think he was in the trailer, though.)
Carry on Cowboy (There is a clip of Jon in this).
Carry On Cleo (An easy way to see the most famous line...)
Carry On At Your Convenience (I just like this one, even though the trailer sadly does not feature the gambling budgie, which is the best bit).
Carry On Abroad (It's so 70s...)
The whole lot seem to be on this channel, but I thought that was plenty to be going on with.
And that's goodnight from her... (Yes, I'd better get out of the retro British comedy mode.)
