Aw, thanks! Glad you liked it. Especially, since I don't think you've read any of the UNIT fics with these two in. (Or maybe I'm confused), so it must have worked all right out of context - yay! :-)

Hee. Poor Capt Evered and Anna!

Post-beta:

He was also wearing his uniform again, which made him look over more out of place,

"over" doesn't make sense in the context - "ever" or "even" would be better (the latter for preference!)

Literally, trough it, the glass and frame shattering about it

"through" not "trough"!

Thank you! Hmm, I keep making people say 'poor x and y' about my OCs...

And, thanks - fixed.

Actually, looking at the first one again now, I think that there may have been an incident with the annoying OVR button (why is it right by the delete button? Who thought THAT was a good idea when designing keyboard layouts?) - I think it was meant to be something about him looking over-sized, and ending with even more out of place. I can't remember what it was supposed to be now, though, so I'd best leave it at just 'even'. *Glares at ovr button*

I just started worrying: Oh, Anna and Evered are just together, there's no bit in between... and then realised it was all there in my head, just waiting to be written. I know you never asked for anything of the sort! ;-)

IT IS AMAZING THAT'S WHAT IT IS

David Evered! Heeeeee! Why does that sound so completely unexpected?

Anna put her hand over the speaker so that she couldn’t leap in with an over-eager yes, and waited for him to finish. - oh that is so CUTE.

She sighed, twisting a strand of mid-brown hair around her finger as she leant back against the banister. “Next Friday would be lovely. And when will you be ringing me to postpone that one, please? I wouldn’t want to miss your call, since it’s the only time I speak to you.”

And then there's drama, and a shootout, and explosions, AND a kiss! You are ticking all my boxes today. *grins madly* Thank you so much!

Aww. Thanks!

Does it? He's been David since he first appeared, but I've never had the chance to use it until Anna arrived on the scene. (I also know what Sgt Kennedy's name is, although that took ages before he was happy with anything).

And, aw, thanks again. I'm so glad you liked it (is there really a shoot out? I thought there was just a hacking up of the plastic person with a big knife, but there...) Anna is fun to write, since unlike my awkward other female characters, she doesn't mind being a proper girl! Heh.

Aw - that's lovely! Very nice indeed (if I was the sort of person who demandingly demanded 80s UNIT fic off people I might say something about how did Kennedy and Nat's sister get on in the days/weeks whatever after the wedding - probably not much better than this!).

And now Captain Evered knows better than to go taking his work home with him (or on a date anyway)...

Thanks! I don't want to sound pathetically grateful for a review, but I was feeling pretty down today (I started throwing things out again. If ever I delete my account and vanish, no need to worry; I'll have just gone off to dedicate myself to housework and stuff in despair...) So I'm pathetically grateful for a nice review, so thanks. :-D

And if you were the sort of person who demanded 1980s UNIT fics (just to keep me in obscurity, obviously), then I would ask you to bear in mind that there is a final fic to come yet and THAT plot strand may be resolved. You know, right at the end, before I kill Kennedy. ;-D

Aw, well glad to have brightened up your day just a little bit, even if it was by demanding fic off you! ;D I hope everything is going as well as it can for you right now, anyway, and don't let the housework get you down! But yes, it was very nice, really. He's become a bit of what TV Tropes call an "Ensemble Dark Horse" has old Evered, really; sort of appeared in the background as a replacement for Bambera and has moved progressively into the foreground ever since.

Yay! I think... Can Kennedy at least die in Kate's arms, in that case, spouting some pithily heroic last words, having just saved the world from the Kandyman or whoever? ;D

I was badly in need of a spot of encouragement, and there you were at the pinch. ;-D (I'll try and stop with the pathetic gratitude now.) And when you demand fic I've already written in rough, then I can merely be smug. Or something.

Yes, I suppose he has. Heh, that site would have a name for it!

 I have this feeling that even if Kennedy managed to pull that off, Kate wouldn't play along... The Kandyman?! Sadly, there are no actual Who villains in this. Although, to answer your other question (because I had to think about it): yes, we have heard of him. :-)
