I spent my first week back from vacation packing and hauling all of my worldly possessions a block and a half down Sutter St to my new apartment on the corner of Hyde and Sutter. It was difficult moving in the middle of the week when my friends where busy working, but fortunately I was able to bribe the futon delivery people to move the larger pieces of furniture for me. What a hassle...
The new place is really nice though. From my fourth floor studio I have a street view from which I can toss superballs and old socks out of my screenless bay windows. It's fantastic.
And with the much lower rent, I finally feel that I can settle in for a bit.
