Arkansas vs Today
Arkansas was nothing short of amazing. I had an awesome audition, and basically I've got the world in my hands when I go out there. I'll be in like 5 or 6 ensembles, I'll have a music job, I'll be working with a high school, I'll have a tuba professor that I respect and enjoy working with. I'll have a new start at school, I'll be living in a house with some room mates. It's BEAUTIFUL out there, there are trees and grass and rivers and mountain and wildlife. It's a small city, there's a low violence/crime rate. It's going to be awesome. So, I rocked my audition, and I'm heading out there next fall. Pending acceptance...they just have to find my transcript which was sent to them like 2 months ago, ha.
So, the my flight was delayed, therefore my meeting delayed, I met up with Connor and was delayed more. Didn't make it back to Tucson until midnight. Jordan was having a terrible night, so I stayed up trying to calm him down. Finally went to sleep at 130, then got woken up at 5 because a boyfriend.girlfriend.child fight was going on outside the apartment, screaming and crying and everything. Couldn't fall back asleep. Had a midterm on the clarkes, which was miserable. Sucked in tuba ensemble, which was fucking stupid, we shouldn't even be doing this CD. Went into work and David said he was moving in like 2 weeks, so I lost it. My boss is having life troubles, and I have no good advice to offer. What a shitty day compared to my awesome weekend.
So, I'm clenaing my apartment and listening to music and drinking beer and playing with my new mac. Just gonna pretend that today actually didn't happen.
