It's raining... it's pouring

So Chris and I rode back to Milano today.... it was beautiful when we left Genova and when we arrived in Milano it was pouring. Ahhhhh my first day of rain. It's all good however. As soon as we got back to the hotel I meet a man named Arie from Iowa. He just graduated from Yale law school and is touring Europe because he came over to see his sister who is studying abroad. He's only in Milano for another day but invited me to join him at the lake district tomorrow. That was a place I knew I had to visit before I left. It is supposed to be as beautiful as Switzerland. I think I'll join him. Chris flys out tomorrow morning so we will say our partings tonight. Since the weather is so bad we are probably going to sit at the hostel tonight with Michele (the really cool guy who runs the place) and drink the rest of Chris's Scotch.

I heard from my cousin Cody who is abroad fighting for our freedom. He just returned from a trip into the mountains. He is doing well and is learning the land. I love hearing from him but would prefer to see him instead. His mother is having problems with her back so everybody keep her in your prayers. She's in mine.

My dad just returned from a weekend fishing trip... not sure how it went but he should post a comment soon with the "results." My sister is going to a picnic soon to be considered for a scholarship to the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Let me know how it goes!! She has already been excepted to the school but wants to go there for free. I (as well as my entire family) are very proud of her. She has overcame some major adversity and is pushing forward... letting nothing get in her way. Last semester she made the National Honor Society. Way to go sis.

I'll update tomorrow evening with details of my lake trip. Until then....
