"When every little piece of the puzzle doesn't always fit perfectly..."

I have a nice little medley of songs from the country show from Fiesta Texas stuck in my head...that western section is slowly taking over my brain...sigh...I guess it's ok because I have the music from the show in my head, not that mind-numbing hillbilly music that plays in the background of the park, "On the wings of a snow white dove, he sends his pure sweet love, a sign from above (sign from above) on wings of love (wings of his love)." I'm memorizing the words. Noah said it's a round of ten songs, I bet that I could quote a line from almost every song. Ok, let's go:
1)The one I just quoted.
2)"Do not forsake me, oh my darling..."
3)"I go walking after midnight waiting for you..."
4)"I'm crazy for trying and crazy for crying and crazy for loving you..."
5)"And crown thy good with brotherhood from sea to shining sea..."

Wow, can I only do five? I'm disappointed in myself. Some of the customers laugh at me when the show's going on because I'll be singing the words. Some of the songs though, I like. My two favorites from the "Country Unleashed": "Oh yeah, by the way she moves she's got me rollin dirt in a white t-shirt..." and "I miss Maybury, sittin on the porch drinkin ice cold cherry...coke. When everything is black and white. Na na, na na, nanananana..." And favorite from "The Heart of Country": "Operater won't you put me on through, I gotta send my love down to Baton Rouge. Hurry up, can you put her on the line, I gotta talk to her just a one more time. Whoa whoa whoa, in Baton Rouge." "I can see the light of a brand new morning. I can see the light of a brand new day. I can see the light of a clear blue morning. Everything's gonna be alright, it's gonna be ok." What's sad is that, as my brother put it, I don't even try to learn the words, it's just by...osmosis? You know.

Ok, so I just typed an entry on the music at Fiesta Texas. I have officially lost my soul to my work. So let's talk about my days off, what I've done.

Last Thursday I went to my appointment from 2-3, then went out to Baskin Robbins with Noah and Nalleli. After that, I went home, sat on my butt, then went over to Elmo's house for poker for about an hour until I had to pick up my dad and Christine from the airport. It was a pretty good day, I guess. Yeah, nothing happened with Karmelo. We set up dinner and he cancelled later. Big surprise. I know he might read this, but I don't care anymore. So, in case you are reading this, Karmelo, it's your turn to try to be my friend because obviously me trying to be yours isn't working out. Now our friendship lays is your hands, because I'm tired of putting forth an effort and then having it stomped on. I would say this to your face, but the odds of me seeing you in person are slim to none as I've been trying for way too long. It sucks that it had to come to this.

On that note, I'm out.
