end of the year

So one of my best friends Malia is getting Married! I am so excited to be one of her bridesmaids. I wish more than anything my sister Grace was able to go with me. I think that would have been extremely cool. Because its in Alaska!

Hanukkah was amazing. I got a lot, but my favorites are the board games. I got monopoly disney, monopoly spongebody, Disney Scene It, and Gestures. It was a good week. I love my family. This year Bethany got me as her secret macabee. Which I discovered by day too because of her handwriting and inability to keep a secret. Addison made out like a bandit which I am thankful he was able to have a good experience.

Tomorrow I fly out of San Fransico to St. Louis. I am stoke to go, but sad that it will take 6 hours! What the heck. I am hoping I make it pass security. With my luck I will have a bottle of lotion that I didn't pull out or something. I haven't had the best of luck with airports...lets reminisce:

March of 2007.
I borrowed a bag from mynext door neighbor Juan. I flew from Hawaii to LAX, spent the night in LA and then going through security again I flew into New Mexico. All fine and dandy. on My way back to Hawaii I went through airport security and they asked to check my bag. I wasn't worried on account that I went through two airport securities to get there and hadn't added anything to my bag.

The Territorial Secretary was right behind me. He waited to make sure everything was alright and then left thinking it would be alright since they couldn't find anything in the bag. He said "call me if you need a lawyer" and went on his way. As soon as he left they pulled a giant bullet out of my bag. The lady shoved it in my face and yelling "why do you have ammunition in your bag. what are you going to do with this?"

I started to cry because it wasn't my bag, and I didn't know what I could possibly do with a bullet besides throw it at the pilot or something. Plus my neighbor Juan ( who was there) was not helping my case he just stood there like an idiot. All I could say was "its not my bag". The lady looked at me like I was an idiot and by that time airport security had got there and surrounded me. All the while Juan is standing there.

So I told them it was Juans bag so I sat there and a Polic officer got the story from me and the security lady got the story from Juan. Which was we were on a beach onetime and he found a bullet that looked like it could be from WWll 2 so he kept it and forgot it in his bag. Then he let mem borrow it. And I think it helped that I was crying because terrorist don't cry. It could have helped as well that I was part of the Salvation Army coming from a christian conference with the 2cd in command of the Salvation Army there to back me up. I dunno but they let me go with a warning and confiscated my bullet (which I was more than ok with).
