DCB Concert
So We went to the David Crowder Band concert. It was pretty good Except we got regular tickets and in order to stand by the stage you had to have bought Gold tickets, so that was lame. The opening bands weren't too good either really so we ended up kind of bored at the beginning. But David Crowder always throws amazing concerts so it ended up being really good. I had a great time.
Right now I am in Pendleton again! WE cam up here so my brother could get his GED I am so excited!!! Unfortunately we are only here for two days we leave on Thursday. I was so happy to see my old friends. I really miss them...or should I say him lol. I really only had one friend outside of church and my jerk of a brother wouldn't let me hang out with him because my brother is jealous. But tomorrow Jack is coming with us to see Where the Wild Things are so that will be nice. Now I am at my sisters house with her cute cat.
Now here is where God comes in. Its really sad to see our church has fallen apart. But its really cool to see those who have stood firm, even though the new pastors are the opposite of my parents, and teach against Torah. Its really cool to see all the lives my parents touched because they showed the love of Jesus. I really want my life to be like that. I want to reflect Jesus in all that I do, and have that reflection change lives and keep them changed. I am so excited to see our church grow in Grass Valley.
In Grass Valley there is a couple about my age, name Vincent and Natalie. They are complete opposite of me really lol. For instance they listen to ICP, live together even though they are not married, make up crazy stories that everyone knows is not true, and cuss. But I really like them. I like hanging out with them, talking baout Jesus, and hearing their stories. They come to church now and we even decided to start a bible study so they can invite their friends.
They dress funny, smell weird, and kiss all the time in public, but I am not embarrassed by them. Which is the Jesus in my because myself is often prideful and I sometimes feel like I have a sense of superiority to people (which this summer I was really humbled by and don't struggle with that as much), and PDA grosses me out. But I am excited to see what God's plan is for their lives and mine!!!
