...and gas. Fuck.
Working at the gym... yep. Doesn't sound very exciting, does it? So, now you can stop wondering why I haven't been updating. I could tell you how filthy I feel wrenching gooey hair clogs from the shower drain in the women's locker room, but I sense that most of you are not chomping at the bit for that kind of news (though I wouldn't put it past a few of you to be so). I'm sure you'll excuse me if I refrain from reliving it.
In that spirit, I'll give a summation of the last few weeks. I've been exercising a great deal, and I've lost all the weight I gained during my post-graduation lapse and then some. I finally got my diploma (huzzah!), but it's only the English one. I'll get the Hawaiian one, though, because I've decided to visit the vivacious and beautiful E for a week in October. I cannot wait to get back to Oahu's sunny shores and visit with the most amazing person I have ever been privileged to know (and gorgonzola & green apple pizza, yum!). I also got all my official info from U. Auckland, with my official letter of acceptance, so now I can call myself an official graduate student (officially). It's looking like I'll be deferring my actual entrance, however, for at least 6 months but perhaps a year,, so you're all stuck with me for awhile. Lastly, Losers Fight It has been dragged kicking and screaming back into action, due in part to the addition of our new guitar player, Scrimmy the Dirtbag. He's scored us a gig playing at the Hog's Trough in Manchester on the 26th. That's right, the boys are back, and with real gigs this time. Come on out and see us if you're woman enough. Hopefully more shows to come.
Things that are lame right now:
-The current executive administration of the United States.
-Gas prices.
-Being dependent on gas, see number 1.
-Avian flu in Concord.
Things that are not lame right now:
-Amy's organic pizza pockets.
-Dried orgainc papaya (20% Dietary Fiber in every serving!).
-Organic soy milk (8 grams of protein in every serving!).
-ICEEs available 24 hours a day at Hess.
So that's it for now. Go back to college, you crazy kids. I'll be rocking that way soon enough.
Live Free or Observations:
-I hate Travelocity so very much.
-Maybe a new tatt soon. I feel like my blood-ink levels are a little low.
-Oh yeah, and a haircut.
Mahalo!
