Petrol and diamonds, love and heroin, rock and roll.
Not a lot to report at the moment, madamoiselle. Back to the grind at the Planet F, but I've no complaints. The night shift really builds character, and the weeks fly by. Got a buddy there who I can chat with in nerdspeak, and the work is not terribly hard. Outside of that, still waiting on my damned diploma and word from Auckland.
Had practice with a new guitar player the other day. Hopefully he'll jumpstart this band back into action. Pros: He's a quick learn, he's a solid player, he's amenable, and he's got equipment and possibly a practice space. Cons: None yet. We'll see how the next few practices go, hopefully some shows might end up materializing.
Fuck... reading the newspaper just makes me tired. I don't know what to yell about anymore, it's all bad. I guess gas prices... or whatever. Sucks.
And of course I'm missing E. We've been talking every day, which helps, and staying future oriented. She's trying to move off-campus for the upcoming semester, and we're figuring out what we're apt to do in the upcoming months to see eachother.
Good news to report is that (drum roll please) diets and exercise actually work if you don't fuck around on them too much. I've lost 10 lbs. so far, and I intend to lose at least 10 more before the end of August. The vegetarianism thing has helped a great deal, and I've been trying to run for an hour each morning and jump rope a few times a day. It sounds ridiculous, I know, but when you work all night and no one wants to hang out with you at 6AM, you have little else to do.
Maybe I should get another job or something.
Observations are for fun AND dancing:
-If you've been watching Brat Camp, you're a moron. It's not real, and military brats are even more irritating in real life.
-You are listening.
-New Supreme Court nominee = GOP whore.
