A weekend to finish and begin
Ahhh... Friday. It has been a long, tiring week and, after two solid weeks of working late and rising early, I am really poignantly looking forward to sleeping in a bit tomorrow morning. We have been spending all our evenings this week over at the apartment cleaning it up and getting it ready to hand back over to the owner - clearing out the last remnants of stuff, taking down a few last shelves and cabinets we had added, cleaning the carpets, patching the screw holes in the walls, and so forth. It's looking pretty good and hopefully we can finish it completely tonight so that we can get to working on the house this weekend. So much to do! I'm chomping at the bit to start into everything and make it our own. After recharging with a little extra sleep, that is.
