Escrow Ho!

After much waiting, and baiting of breath, and crossing of fingers, the offer we made on the house we desire has been accepted! We open escrow today and have our home inspection scheduled for Saturday morning. So exciting! We still have to make it through the probate court confirmation, which will require an even longer period of waiting in limbo and even more crossing of fingers and knocking on wood and other such fortune-plying gestures, so we're trying not to be too presumptuous in our excitement. But we are nonetheless very glad to have beat out the other offer and get our desired offer price accepted. This is going to be a long week now because I can't wait to see the house again on Saturday, with the new perspective of we might be moving in here soon - my eyes will be as saucers.
