Better late than never resolutions
Well hello! I've missed you all...and oh boy, have I missed writing my stories. Between my local foods blog, an editing project I've been working on, and the long birthday/holiday season, I sort of lost my bearings with my fiction. I'm terrible at doing multiple things at once--give me a project and I'll dive in, but everything else gets left behind in a big messy pile. And some of the things in that big messy pile are fine that way--dust and laundry, for instance. (Uh, that's clean laundry, and oh, the mounds that are hiding downstairs...ahem.) But in the recent days of resolutions, I came up short. Yes, I'm thrilled to continue researching and working on my new blog and doing all the other projects in front of me. But what about my stories? Yeah, what about them? (I was tempted to write that all in caps, but I thought I'd spare you.)
So, for 2012 I think I'll be looking for balance. And using my time wisely. Simple, no? Um, yes and no--especially the using my time wisely part. Oh, and come here often (but not too often--see above resolution) for support and inspiration. Looking forward to it!
