for "NOW" in muncie, indiana:

Blizzard Warning in effect... snow...heavy at times...is expected to continue through the day. Additional snowfall accumulations of around 4 inches are likely by late afternoon. Northeast winds will gust to 40 mph at times which will cause considerable blowing and drifting of the Snow. White out conditions are also possible. Motorists should be extremely careful and not venture out if at all possible.

FOUR inches. dear god in heaven. let's cancel classes. remember when they did that when i was an undergrad for the first time in 30 years? maybe my knowledge of the total accumulation is incomplete, but i'm pretty sure that was the same band of snow that swept through como last night, and WE didn't cancel anything. considerable blowing is right. muncie, you should probably just buy yourself a second snow plow and learn that the world is not supposed to stop for four inches of snow.
