Double Wammy
Got two emails this morning. One from my mom telling me that my step dad has been scheduled for a triple A in early september. I'm not sure what exactly a triple A is, but there were murmers of heart bypass surgery as a possibility if the stints didn't open up his artery, so i have to assume that that is what she's talking about. Of course, it could also be the aneurysm surgery too. She isn't exactly forthcoming with the details, as im sure this is stressing her out.
The second email was from my aunt telling me that my uncle has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, and will be going into surgery soon to deal with that.
And at noon I have a big meeting between my IT dept, another IT dept, and my primary user group to prioritize projects and discuss cooperation across the depts to improve delivery of solutions.
I think i want to go find a dark corner and hide for a while.
