Hey New-Zealanders on My Friends List --
I know there are a couple of folks from New Zealand on my list. If you could help me here, I would be grateful.
A professional acquaintance of mine wrote to me earlier this week and expressed an interest in witchcraft (she didn't say specifically, but I got the impression that it's really about magic/witchcraft, not so much about Paganism/religion.)
She is an ex-Israeli, now living in New Zealand, in a small town near Auckland. She's in her late 40's, married with (I think teen-age) kid. Generally, she's a pleasant and reasonable person.
I already gave her a couple of book recommendations, but I'd very much appreciate pointers about local resources for beginners that might be suitable for her - meetups, groups, teaching circles, etc.
Also - she mentioned meeting someone from a local group called Witchaven. Do you know anything about them? (I found more than one group in that name over at Witchvox.)
