I know! I firmly believe that NG should be the next DW showrunner - his series would be EPIC! So EPIC and AWESOME! Also, he's utterly adorable - I love him in the confidential - definitely worth watching if you haven't already!
Oh yes so many great allusions to the past and also we got to see more layers of Eleven which I like - it's really the first time he's faced the whole "I killed all my people" thing and it was fascinating to see how he treated it. Just OMG there's still so much to process from this one - I'm planning to rewatch it in a bit and I think it'll be even better.
SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE I suspect this may become one of my "Rewatch when I'm down" episodes because it made me SO happy.
NG is so great! Did you see the Q&A he did for the guardian the other day about his episode? So fantastic. He's a winner for sure! And he explains where he got the idea from which was really cool.
Yeah it's nice to get some things cleared up in Cannon for sure. I really liked hearing what the TARDIS had to say, I'm just sad it couldn't be longer - oh if only this one had been a two parter... *sigh*. I'm hoping later this week I'll have time to rewatch! :)
Oh! One of my new flatmates has that audio and it going to loan it to me. I heard the first few minutes already and it's great. I love his voice.
I understand - this was a busy week for TV for me too. Some great finales though. I have yet to rewatch the full episode myself - did rewatch the first half though, but got interrupted.
I loved the bit in the Confidential where NG talks about the whole episode being born out of that one exchange where the Doctor says she isn't reliable, but the TARDIS replies that she always took him where he *needed* to go. And that's been true, right from the beginning. yes I love that concept too. It's a really nice one that works so well
