I didn't think they would get a fully functional TARDIS so quickly! Can't wait to see where you send them. Love the story so far (and the fact that the TARDIS wants them to have a baby - very cute).

Well, storywise it's actually been close to 5 years since they were left on the beach in Bad Wolf Bay. I did a lot of time passage in these first three chapters because I wanted to... wellllll, that would be giving things away, so I'll just say, you'll see! :)

I'm so glad you are enjoying the story. You will definitely find out at least one of the places I'll be sending them in the next chapter.

As for the TARDIS, her motives may not be as clear as you may think.

This chapter is one of my favorites. It has so many wonderful things going on, and is happyhappyhappy!!

'"Right. You're already married." He frowned. "Wait, if it's not for you, who are you having a wedding for? Tony is a little young isn't he?"'

*Sporfle* Ten can be rather dense at times, hmmm?

"He stared at her, transfixed, no longer caring that Jackie had somehow managed to orchestrate this elaborate ceremony for them without either prior knowledge or permission."

Ohhh, that's so sweet! And I'm amazed that Jackie not only managed to keep the whole thing a secret from both Rose and the Doctor, but that neither of them was upset with her! However, as the Doctor rightly said, '"...it made your mother happy, which I much prefer to when she's yelling at me, or slapping me."'The ancient Irish hand-fasting ceremony was very interesting. Did Jackie want to be doubly sure they stayed married ( ... )

Wiggie! :D

It is a rather loaded chapter, isn't it?

*Sporfle* Ten can be rather dense at times, hmmm? LOL Endearingly so! :)

Ohhh, that's so sweet! And I'm amazed that Jackie not only managed to keep the whole thing a secret from both Rose and the Doctor, but that neither of them was upset with her! Jackie has her ways. :) Both of them realized that it wasn't worth getting upset over. They love each other and they were okay with showing it, they just didn't NEED to. So in the end, the wedding was more about them just reaffirming to each other how much they loved each other. Which really, when it comes down to it, is what weddings are about anyway.

The ancient Irish hand-fasting ceremony was very interesting. Did Jackie want to be doubly sure they stayed married? In my head, the Doctor is fascinated by human traditions and ceremonies of all kinds and has particular respect for the Celts. So I envision that at some point, he and Jackie had discussed traditions and she realized that this is something he would appreciate even ( ... )

Reading this again is just so *sigh* -- these two are so adorable together. I love that Jackie just ran roughshod over their wishes, but that in the end they were happy about it.

I'm also beyond delighted (again) that the TARDIS responded so well to the marriage, so they have reason to thank Jackie. Also that nursery is the cutest thing ever. Can't wait to read the rest of it again :)

Aren't they? I love writing them so sweet and lovely like this. (Without being over the top of course)

Hehe, Jackie can be a bulldozer when she wants to be, but I also think she knew that on some level they did want this even if they didn't realize it. And how can you be mad when you get to be so honest with the person you love more than anyone in the world?

Oh yes, the marriage was the last thing the TARDIS needed to be fully formed. She is deeply connected to Rose and the Doctor's relationship! :)

I love the nursery. I wish I knew how to draw b/c I would totally illustrate that.

The rest is on its way-ish
! :)

That was such a happy part. I expected the Doctor to explode, to be trapped in marriage by Jackie but he reacted well. Same for Jackie when she saw the Tardis, I expected her to have a nervous breakdown but she was okay. Well, is she going to Aruba with Pete, then?

I'm so glad you enjoyed it. I figure they deserve some happiness. Life doesn't always go smoothly, but this is one time where the Doctor decided not to pick a fight with Jackie - not when it means he's now publically committed to the woman he loves above all others.

I think Jackie accepted a long time ago that Rose may never be content leading a "normal life" again. And she would be perceptive enough to know that even though Rose and the Doctor have been happy since they've been in Pete's World together, neither has been 100% content. There's a part of both of them that misses the adventures and the time travels, and I think Jackie knows it.

As for Aruba... all will be revealed in time! :)

Thank you! :)
