Finer Details that Make my Head go all Explody

I'm trying to work out some details for a fic that I'm writing and there are few things that are cropping up that I'm not sure of. I figure one of you might know more than me and might be able to help.
1) If Rose was 19 at the start of the series, is she still 19 after Aliens of London/WWIII? Or did she have a birthday even though she wasn't present in her own universe that year?
2) Exactly how old is Rose by the end of Journey's End? Do we have any idea? Assuming she is 20 after WWIII, that makes her 21 by Doomsday. But if she'd stayed in Ten's world then, she'd have been 23 in S4, but since Pete's world is 3 years ahead, she'd have to be what, 26 by the time she returns in S4. Is that right?
3) The Void. Does anyone know how it works? I checked out the Doctor Who Wiki but it didn't really tell me anything I didn't already know. What I'd like to know is if someone were to be able to travel through it to another universe, would it HAVE to be held open on both sides by a time lord to prevent the walls from collapsing? I've seen it done this way in several fics which is why I'm asking - is there some evidence somewhere to say that is what must happen, or are other options possible? In otherwords, how much artistic license do I have?
4) If 10.5 is fully human, how old would he have been in JE? Approximately David's Age? Like 38ish?
Those are the big questions I have for now, I very well might have more later. Thanks in advance to anyone who is able to help sort this out.
