With LJ being down all of last week I got a bit behind on this. If you asked for words in a previous post, I've given them to you in the comments now, please respond once you've posted them so I know to go looking for your answers. If you gave me words and I haven't responded yet, please let me know - it's possibly I somehow missed them/forgot about them in all the confusion.
Here are the instructions:
Reply to this meme by yelling 'WORDS!', and I will give you five words that remind me of you.
Then post them in your journal and explain what they mean to you.

rumpelsnorcack 1. Interesting
I enjoy things that I find interesting. Interesting things for me can range from tv shows, books and movies that I like to theatre, history, art, travel, crafting, and children.
2. listen
I like to think I'm a good listener. When my friends are upset about something I try to be supportive and understanding but mostly I just listen. I let them vent or sort through their thoughts and feelings with me as a sounding board if that's what they need.
3. travel
I love travelling and I'm itching to do more. There are so many places on my list and now that I live in the UK I've been blessed with the opportunity to travel even more because it's so much easier and cheaper from here. In fact I've been organizing my pictures over the past few weeks and my travel folder is bursting! This year alone I've been to Germany, Canada, the East Coast US, Wales, and parts of England. In the next month I also have trips planned to France, Germany, Northern England and Scotland.
4. writing
I loved creative writing when I was in school, and I've often had ideas for novels come to me now and again but I didn't start writing in earnest until a few years ago when I first delved into fanfic and wrote my first Gilmore Girls Fanfic. Through fic I started to gain confidence in my writing ability and as my grammer and prose improved I got braver, constructing longer stories with more complex plots. I've since started writing fic in other fandoms and have even ventured into some original stories. In fact, last nano I wrote an 80K word original novel. Now writing has become an integral part of my life. It's like once I started writing it opened a dam and now I have so many ideas and never enough time to write them down. I can no longer imagine what life would be like without some form of writing in it.
5. opposite
Well, given that
rumpelsnorcack gave me this word and she lives on the opposite side of the world from me our friendship is filled with opposites. Our current time zones are nearly 12 hours apart so I wake up when she's going to bed and she wakes up when I'm going to bed. It's odd and yet it works for us. Our seasons are opposite too so when she's hot, I'm cold and when she's cold I'm hot. Thankfully our likes are not opposites - we both like Harry Potter, we both like Doctor Who, we're both teachers, we both love to read... the list goes on!

jewelsverne 1. Klutz *giggles*
Hahaha! Well, the secret's out. I am a klutz. I seem to go in phases where I'm fine and do nothing klutzy for ages and ages and then suddenly I'll do a string of klutzy things. I spill things on myself, I bump into doors and tables and other inanimate objects, I trip over air, I drop stuff... I walk off walls... The ironic thing about my klutziness is that my real name means "full of grace" and clearly I'm about as graceless as they come. In fact, I once had a co-worker would would mutter "full of grace" under her breath every time I did something Klutzy... which was almost daily. A recent example: about a month and a half ago, on my way to school I randomly fell and skinned my knee so badly that it's STILL bruised and red. Yup, I'm hopeless! In fact a friend of mine once joked that I will one day meet my future husband by either tripping over him or spilling something on him.
2. Writing.
HA! You and
rumpelsnorcack are on the same page here. I refer you to my answer above on this one, but I shall add that YOU were a huge influence on the improvement in my writing, in fact, you're the BEST BETA I EVER HAVE! I miss working with QT!
3. Kids
Kids have been a part of my life since I was one. I started babysitting when I was ten and from the time I was six one of my neighbours had a baby and me and their daughter were pretty much inseparable until I was in High School. She's like a little sister. In fact we still are, when she started university I helped her to register for classes. Anyway, I digress. Aside from babysitting I worked at summer camps as a teenager and when I was in high school my mum started doing foster care for babies so I've had a lot of time and experience with little ones. I'm also now a teacher and my favourite age to teach is 5 and 6 years old - so I guess you could say I really like young kids. From a young age I knew I wanted my own kids one day and even though I don't have them yet I'd still like to. In the meantime I have an adorable 2 year old neice and an equally adorable 1 year old nephew I can spoil and many of my close friends have children under 10 that are a regular part of my life. Basically, my life and kids go hand in hand.
4. Raccoons (and the running over of them) *giggles again*
Let me tell you a little story. About a little trip to Niagara Falls Ontario where a raccoon came from NOWHERE and attacked the front of the car. Yup, not a fan of Raccoon's... or squirrels - they're suicidal and they throw nuts!
5. Travelling
Again you seem to be sharing a mind with
rumpelsnorcack I answered this above, but if you want to provide me with two more words to replace the duplicates I will dutifully answer! :)
